Participating the Bali Process 2021 Consultation and Innovation Session

In order maintain connection with international counterparts and to keep up with the latest international and regional trends of the prevention and combat of labour exploitation, members of the Working Group for Prevention of Forced Labour of the Human Trafficking Deterrent Measures Concern Committee attended 2 sessions of online forum on November 17 and 25 respectively at the invitation of the Bali Process.

The 2 sessions specifically focused on the electronics and garments industries in which guest speakers discussed the challenges inflicted on the supply chain of the manufacturing sector under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the sessions also explored innovation of countermeasures and facilitation of synergy between government and private sector.
