The Women’s Association of Macau organized an event named “Let’s Act Together to Combat Human Trafficking”. Since the “Law of Combating Human Trafficking” became effective in June 2008, the Women’s Association has worked closely with the Macau SAR Government. Sponsored by the Social Welfare Bureau, the Women’s Association set up the 24hour Helpline and assists shelter service for victims.
The event attracts participants from the general public by providing games, dramas, singing and dancing performances. Besides, the Women's Association of Macau has also produced some souvenirs for promotion.
