Escorting victims of human trafficking back to their home country sometimes involves cross-border situation, international organizations can play an important role in the process. The Social Welfare Bureau and the International Organization for Migration (HK Office) signed a cooperation agreement, that the organization will assist escorting human trafficking victims to their home country, giving them assistance and follow up on their needs after they return home, as well as risk assessment on the situation of the victim and their family.
