Identifying Victims: From Behavioral and Psychological Signs

The Heath Bureau is organising a training program called “Identifying Victims: From Behavioral and Psychological Signs” for the Judiciary Police and the Public Security Police from October 2010 until the end of the year. The course is conducted by a training team consist of psychiatrists, therapists and psychiatric social workers from the Health Bureau. Topics of the program are specially designed for front-line police officers, which mainly include: the definition of trafficking, psychological impact on human trafficking victims(physical and psychological trauma), communication skills, interaction with victims, and nonverbal behavior.
