Seminar on Rights and Obligations in Labour Relation

In order to enhance the understanding of labour relation, requirement of employing foreign workers and human trafficking crime among domestic service employers, the Labour Affairs Bureau held the “Seminar on Rights and Obligations in Labour Relation” on June 11, 2016, upon the invitation by the Macau Domestic Service’s Employer Union. Besides the introduction of the content of the «Labour Relations Law» and «Law for the Employment of Non-resident Workers», regulations governing labour exploitation in the «Combat the Crime of Trafficking in Persons», such as confiscation of identification documents and restraining the freedom of movement, were also explained. The participants actively raised related questions which were answered in detail by staff of the bureau. Pamphlets were also distributed to them at the scene and they were shown proper ways to seek assistance.
