In order to foster the harmonic employment relations, the Labour Affairs Bureau constantly organizes or co-organizes the captioned seminars so as to let different target personnel better understand the content of forced labour stipulated in «Labour Relations Law», «Law on Employment of Non-resident Workers» and Law No.6/2008 «Combat the Crime of Trafficking in Persons». The objective is to let employers and employees learn more about the employment rights and obligations so that the legitimate interests can be secured.

Between January and June 2018, the bureau co-organized 8 sessions with the Public Security Police Force and associations from different industries. Each session contained Q&A and short video clips of different scenarios. It was found that the degree of participation was able to increase through interactive sharing between the instructors and participants. Promotion pamphlets were also given out so as to enhance the effectiveness of the campaign.

One of the sessions was held before the summer holidays, aiming to bring awareness about job seeking precautions and labour exploitations to students who were planning to look for summer jobs. It was also aimed to facilitate teenage students to build up the concept of prevention of forced labour as well as protecting themselves during the process of job seeking.

The 8 sessions was highly appreciated which drew an attendance of 1290 participants including employers, employees, citizens and high school students.
