"Rights and Obligations of Labor Relations" Seminar

On March 9, 2014, the "Rights and Obligations of Labor Relations" Seminar was organized by Caritas Macau, co-organized by the Labour Affairs Bureau, the Legal Affairs Bureau, the Human Resources Office and the Public Security Police. The targeted audience of this seminar was domestic workers from the Philippines, aiming to explain to them related labour laws and their rights.
Contents of the seminar include the "Labor Relations Act," "Law for Employment of Non-resident Workers” and topics about forced labor in Law No.6/2008 "Combating the Crime of Human Trafficking”. There was also a Q&A session for the audience. Nearly 100 domestic workers from the Philippines attended the seminar, and pamphlets were distributed to participants.
