Explanation on the Rights and Obligations of Labor Relations - Employment Agencies Session

On October 11, 2013, the Labour Affairs Bureau, the Legal Affairs Bureau, the Human Resources Office and the Public Security Police organized a seminar on " Rights and Obligations of Labor Relations " targeted at representatives from employment agencies. The goal of this seminar is to explain to the industry the business laws and regulations involved, as well as raising awareness on compliance.
Contents of the seminar include the "Labor Relations Act," "Law for Employment of Non-resident Workers”, laws related to the industry of employment agencies, the administrative procedures, Law No.6/2008 "Combating the Crime of Human Trafficking” on topics about forced labor, and a Q&A session. Nearly 200 people in the industry and the public attended the seminar, and pamphlets are distributed to participants.
