Public Seminar on "Labor Relations Rights and Obligations"

In order to strengthen prevention of human trafficking, on June 21 the Labour Affairs Bureau invited the Legal Affairs Bureau to talk at the "Labor Relations Rights and Obligations" Public Seminar. During the seminar, representative from the Legal Affairs Bureau explained to participants on information of forced labour, including Law No.6/2008 the Law on Combating Human Trafficking, as well as cautions to such crime (such as withholding identification documents and restriction of personal freedom). The event is open to public participation including employers and employees. Content of the seminar includes lecture and a Q & A session. Pamphlets were also distributed to participants in order to raise awareness of both employers and employees.
